Arguably the greatest American sports car racer of his generation. Set two records last season becoming the first driver to earn seven Rolex 24 class victories when taking the overall crown. Also became the winningest driver in Rolex Series history when he took checkered flag at Iowa. Won 2004 Rolex Sports Car Series championship and is a three-time series runner-up (2005, 2006 and 2007). Has co-driven to a series-record 14 victories and 20 poles in Grand-Am competition. Has registered 40 top-five and 51 top-10 finishes in 54 races. Inducted into the IROC Hall of Fame in fall 2005. In addition to his Daytona Prototype title in 2004, has also won three Trans-Am championships, two IMSA GTO crowns and one IMSA Endurance GT top spot. Has won races in Grand-Am, CART, IMSA GTP, GTO and GTU, IROC and Trans-Am. Won Toyota’s first-ever CART pole in 1999. The 1989 CART Rookie of the Year and Indianapolis 500 Rookie of the Year. Began driving karts at the age of eight and went on to win 13 amateur and 10 pro-Kart championships.
